This is a Business Intelligence Director role for a leading healthcare benefits management and pharmacy benefits management with 30 years of experience and know-how, offering support to insurance companies, mutual funds,  large employer schemes and pharmacies with highly advanced tools and services. Our client provides innovative state-of-the-art solutions and comprehensive services to manage its clients’ complex needs.


The Business Intelligence Director will lead his/her teams by establishing and executing a vision for the delivery of information and analytics platforms and solutions. He will be working with business analysis team and key business stakeholders to design and develop semantic layers used for end user reporting, KPI’s and analytics capability


Duties & Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing plans for building Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Applications
  • Working with Business Analysts and Project Managers to develop and refine reporting and analytical requirements
  • Lead the design of the enterprise data warehouse, the ETL process to enable timely enterprise BI & Analytics capability development
  • Conduct job duties and responsibilities according to the organization’s project life cycle management
  • Troubleshooting BI applications and working with database administrators to ensure that the databases feeding the reporting platforms are tuned for optimal performance
  • Manage the day to day activities of the BI teams
  • Conduct research and make recommendations on BI projects by applying industry best practices
  • Maintaining the documentation of BI Solutions

Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Data Science
  • 13 years of relevant experience
  • Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies, data modeling, data integration and data quality
  • Extensive expertise in ETL and BI tools
  • Project Management experience is a must
  • Experience in health-related business or insurance (preferably medical insurance) is a plus
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Strong leadership skills within the project team and in the business community
  • Good negotiation and conflict management and resolution skills
  • Analytical thinking and Strong trouble shooting skills
