Previously started from the development of an EDM (electronic document management) (GED) solution, it currently offers all the technological solutions that accompany the life of a document (Backup, Security, Electronic Signature, etc.). In order to expand their activities, they are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in France.
Job Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between their clients business needs and the software engineering teams. You will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of software engineering principles.
Job Responsibilities:
1- Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, goals, and objectives.
Conduct detailed analysis of client requirements, ensuring a clear and comprehensive understanding of the software project scope.
2- Solution Design and Documentation:
Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and designers to develop innovative and effective solutions.
Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and system diagrams.
3- Quality Assurance and Testing:
Develop and execute test cases to validate that software solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards.
Work closely with QA teams to identify, document, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
4- Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a liaison between clients, project managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Conduct regular status meetings and provide progress updates to clients and internal teams.
5- Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve business analysis processes and methodologies within the software engineering department.
Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing project efficiency and client satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field.
- 4 to 5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in a software engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including use cases, user stories, and process flows.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools is a plus.
