Our client is extending its capabilities to include project and technical support for investment banking clients, initially in Saudi Arabia but potentially also in other Gulf countries, they are recruiting a Technical Writer to join their team.
This role is responsible for writing accurate and accessible technical content to provide information to clients and internal users – for example the Customer Service team - about our client's products and solutions. It works closely with the product owners to understand the solutions from a user perspective and creates user-friendly how-to guides and manuals to assist clients with implementation, configuration, technical help desk, technical training and other post-implementation requirements. It ensures that technical guides are continuously updated and maintained, catalogued and available. The role also assists with translation and other content creation and formatting as required.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Masters’ Degree in science or engineering, or the equivalent work experience in a comparable role.
Experience in IT or a related technical subject is highly desirable. Intermediate level role requiring good level of specific skills, domain knowledge and high proficiency. Works under general supervision with occasional scope for initiative or independent judgement. Consults with peers and seniors to learn through experience.

General Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Previous experience of the application of technology within the financial services industry
Good level of familiarity with the company’s products, solutions, and services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to turn complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand prose
Ability to work in an agile environment where team members work closely together to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
Strong time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to pay attention to detail and organize information effectively
Resourceful and proactive in gathering, collating, and clarifying information, working closely with subject matter experts
Teamwork and collaboration, including the ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships with executive clients, technical and non- technical individuals
