Position Overview:
They are actively seeking an IT Technical Support Team Leader to lead their team of Level 1 technicians. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT support services, with a primary focus on Microsoft technologies and a strong emphasis on networking. While extensive experience is not mandatory, a solid understanding of Azure, networking principles, and proficiency in backup and antivirus management are critical for success.
Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a team of Level 1 technicians, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Cultivate a positive team culture focused on professional development and excellence in service delivery.
2. Technical Expertise:
Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft technologies.
Apply networking knowledge to optimize and enhance the organization's IT infrastructure.
3. Problem Resolution:
Oversee the timely resolution of Level 1 technical issues, escalating complex challenges as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address intricate technical problems effectively.
4. Backup and Antivirus Management:
Manage and maintain backup systems to ensure data integrity and efficient recovery capabilities.
Implement and oversee antivirus solutions, ensuring the robust security of the organization's IT environment.
5. Networking:
Apply networking principles to enhance the overall connectivity and performance of the organization's IT systems.
Collaborate with network specialists to address and optimize network infrastructure.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of technical procedures, support processes, and networking configurations.
Generate regular reports on team performance, issue resolution, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a technical support role, showcasing familiarity with Microsoft technologies, and networking.
Proficiency in backup systems and antivirus management.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
