Job Summary:
Responsible for collecting and translating user insights into delightful experiences. This includes creating both functional and appealing beautiful features that address customer’s needs, using creativity with an eye for design along with the technical knowledge needed to develop great experiences. Responsible for delivering UI mockups, prototypes, MVPs and final products all while working within a team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The mid-level UI/UX designer works under the guidance of a senior designer to design and implement user-friendly interfaces for websites and applications. The job responsibilities for a mid-level UI/UX designer may include:
Collaborating with the senior to understand project requirements and goals
Conducting user research and testing to gather insights into user behavior and preferences
Designing and prototyping interface layouts, navigation, and interactions
Creating and maintaining design systems and style guides
Creating wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
Understanding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
Implementing responsive design and accessibility best practices
Ensuring the final product meets design and usability standards
Continuously improving design and development processes
Qualifications and skills:
A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, computer science, computer engineering or a related field
2-3 years of professional experience in UI/UX design
Strong portfolio that demonstrates experience in interface design and user research
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Figma
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
Knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies
Understanding of web and mobile technologies and their limitations
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with accessibility and inclusive design practices.
