The Senior Project Coordinator will join a growing and centrally managed global professional Project Management (PM) function, partnering with leaders in sales and human resources consulting to ensure that a project is planned and executed in a manner that meets client and internal expectations. This key role generally involves delivering tailored and customized HR solutions and professional services to a wide variety of global clients. The ideal candidate will have project management experience in the Business or HR Consulting arena. This specific role will focus primarily on coordinating delivery activities for the Assessment & Succession practice, with some support for the Leadership Development practice Required Profile
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent additional experience.
2-4 years of experience in project or account management with an understanding of effective management practices.
Minimum of three years demonstrated experience successfully managing complex projects. Experience with global project delivery preferred.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office with the ability to learn challenging internal software. Experience with MS Project and/or SAP is a plus.
Experience in working in a training or consulting firm whose focus is people performance improvement.
High detail orientation with the ability to see the big picture.
Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with cross-functional and remote teams, at all levels of the organization, both internally and with clients.
Excellent organizational and follow-through skills; able to prioritize and manage many simultaneous tasks.
Responsibilities
Ensure customer satisfaction and professional client interactions through seamless delivery of solutions to clients.
Manage the execution of the participant-facing aspect of projects, potentially across multiple consulting work streams.
Assure strong communications with participants, and among internal project team. Orchestrate between the client functions as needed.
Support Project Team through end-to-end project lifecycle. Project team will own SAP inputs; this role must provide status data for input to SAP, enter delivery data into internal systems, handoff delivery data to other functions, and support information requests needed for invoicing and financial tracking.
Contribute to and execute against project plan; provide updates, changes, and monitor scope.
Monitor factors impacting project financials including budget, billing process, resource use, time and expenses, and invoicing – and pass this information to internal teams for action.
Serve as a primary point of contact for client information, updates, delivery, issue and data
Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings that balance consensus building with decision-making; document and communicate outcomes/actions.
Discuss scope implications for design.
Assist internal teams during the sales cycle to scope the operations aspects of projects.
Provide quality assurance review for project deliverables.
